Memory Care at River Place
At River Place, we know that caring for people living with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia is a heartfelt journey that has its own rewards as well as its challenges. Our desire is to support both you and your loved one on that journey, with a personalized program designed to aid each resident. We initiate a personalized care plan and shape them to best care for your loved one. We will help you prepare your loved one for the transition to Memory Care and support them to feel calm, engaged, and experience joy.

No, not all memory care communities are the same. At River Place our community offer our residents beautiful living arrangements, with a gracious style of living, a safe, secure community, friendly neighbors, and newfound freedom from daily chores.

Yes, our apartment homes offer residents a choice of two-floor plans with living areas, private bathrooms, safety support bars in baths, kitchenettes, carpeting, draperies and/or blinds, complete apartment maintenance, emergency call systems, sprinkler systems, smoke alarms, laundering of bed and bath linens, and weekly housekeeping, as well as air conditioning/heating, private telephone jacks, and cable TV service.

River Place delivers individualized care and services in a home-like environment by a well-trained staff. Our caregivers go through progressive, multi-level training to serve with compassion while recognizing the individuality of each resident.

We encourage residents to be as active as they possibly can be. We design and tailor daily activities to meet the particular needs, capabilities, and interests of the residents, including lectures, activities, and self-help classes.
